The Makers Society is a small creative business that I co-founded with my best friend Leesa.
What started out as a creative outlet in the form of a blog where we would often create, style and photograph projects, has blossomed (excuse the pun) into a thriving small business in which we teach floral and other creative workshops on most weekends.
Oooohh boy, The Makers Society has lots of DIY's that both Leesa and I created. A few of them even got all the way over to Buzzfeed & Apartment Therapy!
Yep, flowers and plants have been with us from the start of our Makers journey. DIY's, floral focus's and general floral advice is where Makers Society really hit our stride.
Recipes and Food Styling
Both Leesa and I are Maltese so we can obviously cook up a storm. And why else would we cook other than to style it up and photograph our recipes in all our delcious glory.
On most Saturday mornings you can find me bright and early (read: 5am!) at the Sydney Flower markets buying fresh flowers for our floral workshops. The Makers Society run private and public floral and craft workshops where we often go to hens parties and teach a group of guests how to make floral crowns. We also run seasonal ticketed events called Brekkie & Blooms where we often serve up a delicious breakfast for our guests and then we go on to make some floral creations.
