Alongside my full-time job I also do freelance work outside of office hours. One of my most recent projects is for part of Sydney Uni’s Policy Lab and newly formed project - Strengthening Australian Civil Society. I was lucky enough to design their report on Nurturing Links Across Civil Society: Lessons from Australia’s For-Purpose Sector’s Response to Covid-19.
This report was 120 pages, and I designed a full suite of custom illustrations as well as infographics to support the use of photography to showcase throughout the report. It was a huge undertaking with changing deadlines, lots of stakeholder engagement, and creative challenges. And the report is one of the biggest projects I’ve ever taken on board and I learned a lot from the experience, and I can’t wait to design the next project for SACS.
